Our Services
Comprehensive Evaluation
We conduct a thorough evaluation to determine the unique strengths and challenges of each child. Evaluations typically last between 60 and 120 minutes and include standardized assessments, clinical observations, and caregiver input.
Common areas assessed include:
Developmental and medical history
Sensory processing (including interoception)
Gross and fine motor skills
Performance of daily life activities
Executive functioning skills
Preferred communication and play styles
Self-regulation skills
Strength and mobility
In-Person Therapy Sessions
Occupational therapy sessions use evidence-based techniques to support your child’s unique therapy goals. We address both underlying skills and the impact of the broader environment on performance.
Sessions are typically once a week for 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the needs of each child. We see children in environments that are meaningful to them such as their home, community, or preschool/daycare.
In general, sessions include working one on one with each child, making alterations to the environment, and working with caregivers to address ongoing progress and session goals.
